Have PN and need help

I have had PN for 25 years but was only diagnosed with PN 6 weeks ago with a "punch" biopsy. For the 25 years, I would have periodic outbreaks on my lower legs and the doctor would give me augmented betamethosone which was a miracle cure. It would cure the outbreak in 7 to 10 days. Dating and PN

OK, I'm curious to know how everyone has dealt with dating and relationships while dealing with PN.....does the boyfriend/girlfriend know? If they do, how have they reacted prior to knowing and after finding out? Same for married couples? Has anyone stopped dating completely? PN has been a tough cookie for me because I used to love wearing sleeveless tops and shorts, but now I only wear pants and either will use make-up or wear long sleeves.

I am so grateful for this support site and truly appreciative of all that have shared their stories! I am an African American woman who has been dealing with purigo nodularis since 2007. I had absolutely NO problems until I visited someone in the hospital with MRSA. I did not touch him, but unsure if the hospital room he was in was sterilized. After that visit, my life has been a living hell! I was back and forth to primary care doctors with diagnosis from dermatitis to staph, then not staph....

Its called Gelocast zinc oxide bandage.I have to put a topical cream on first then put bandage on and leave on for 2 days then change dressing.
Waiting for bandages to come will let you know if I have any luck. don't think its a cure but might give relief. I live in Australia some of you might not be able to get it .
Have tried it with nomal bandage and zinc and it has settled down a bit.

Acne wash

My flare-up is finally subsiding! I've been using Neutrogena Body Clear which has salicylic acid as an ingredient. I follow with Aveeno oatmeal body wash to help moisturize. Also still using UVB light 3-4 times a week. Slowly getting better.

I have been bothered by PN for over half a year. And I visited this board for tips and suggestions. Now I would like to share my curing experience with everyone so that people can benefit.

In May my PN started develop. I didn't pay attention to it at all, just thought it's some itching skin. In June it quickly worsened and I went to see a Dermatologist. He thought it's Scabies, but of course the prescription doesn't make the itchiness...

That was a very long 2 weeks!
Anyone having a Vit D3 blood test ..please be aware it does takes 2 weeks.
I was getting more stressed daily because I had not been told it takes 2 weeks to come back from the Lab!

So my Gp has yet again said..told you so..it is self inflicted itch-scratch-itch cycle.

VitD3 results

Well I had mine tested on Monday..and still no results back yet.
How long did you all have to wait for the results to come back?
Maybe I am being impatient but this is weird cos the hospital said the blood would go staright to the Lab that same morning.
Gr..this is annoying me..will have to wait to Monday now.Grrrr!!

I live in the UK and have had this problem on and off now for 8 years!!!!!!!! been in hospital many times for treatment, bandaging my whole body, creams, antibotic cream, steroid injections in the spots etc and UVB treatment..but not long after I get home its back.
Its called Nodular Prurigo here, I am also Asthmatic and have Fibromyalgia and all things associated with it.
The medication I take for NP is Azathioprine and Synilar cream, I am driven round the bend with itching and...

Well, I am excited to find this PN Support Group. I have been dealing with PN for the last 4-5 years, and I finally, finally got a diagnosis from my current Dermotologist.
